Lost in a Forest. Part I: How to Build Individual Tress on 60mm Bases.

Welcome to the first of a two-part series illustrating how you can build evocative Wood Elf scenery that takes up no more than 60mm of real estate per base. The first part of this series shows you how to build characterful individual trees.

When fielding a Wood Elf army, it's essential that you have some stands of trees at your disposal. Who would give up the Forest Walkers and Woodland Ambush (see Bryan's scenery article entitled for more on building your own stand of trees) special rules detailed on p. 18 of the Warhammer Armies: Wood Elves rulebook? You no doubt have a few pre-made, store-bought trees in your scenery arsenal. Ah, but what about a handful of custom-built, Athel Loren-specific scenery to give your battles more impact and feeling of that befit the Warhammer world.
