THE RUINS OF CASTLE FULK - A STEP-BY-STEP FOR BUILDING ABANDONED KEEPS title image

The woodland realm of Athel Loren claims more than just the souls of trespassers. The forest treats the laying of stone or lumber within its borders as an equivalent offense. Though many have been attempted, no structure can stand against the rage of the woods.

Welcome to The Ruins of Castle Fulk, a step-by-step guide for building detailed, ruined fortresses out of insulation foam with knives to carve relief into the surface. On the following pages, Rick Smith will illustrate how to take a rough chunk of foam and transform it into a tumbledown wall in five easy stages. At the end of this article, you'll be able see what you can create with this guide: the tattered remnants of Castle Fulk.

Once you experiment with Rick's instructions for making ruined walls, try to build Castle Fulk
