Chad Mierzwa: I wanted a nocturnal theme for my upcoming Wood Elf army. I also wanted to show the army interacting with its environment, and the Dryads gave me a perfect opportunity. I wanted to give the impression that the Dryads can not only move through the forest with ease, but also be completely concealed until it's too late. I also wanted to take the opportunity to show the various stages of transformation and used the bodies from the Daemonettes. I also wanted to show the nymph stage, but I saved that idea for one of the other Dryad conversions (see the bottomnav links below).
