ROUND 4

Both of the final round Vampire Lords had a tough time with their Round Three opponents. Let's see what happened when they faced each other!

Demonica(Chris Young) vs. Zemanski(John Matthews)

The last two Vampire Lords in the competition met on a green plain just after the sun had set. Demonica and her trusty friend Serpentor knew well to be wary of the might of their Blood Dragon opponent, Zemanski. Even though both had successfully defeated Vampires of the Strigoi bloodline, Demonica knew that Zemanski was a lethal force in close quarters.

The first battle started with Demonica using the Invocation of Nehek to summoning a horde of skeletons that summarily created a unit of undead around the Lahmian Vampiress. Zemanski moved in for the kill, and after accepting the initial hits and failed wounds from Demonica and Serpentor, the Blood Dragon summoned a unit of his own to attack the Lahmian's unit from behind. When the next round of combat was over, only the Blood Dragon and his undead followers remained standing. If the repeated blows by Zemanski hadn't killed Demonica, the combat resolution from a rear attack would have. Battle 1 to John Matthews.

The second battle saw Chris's Demonica try something a little different. Instead of having skeletons join her, she would slow down Zemanski by placing undead warriors in front of him. John's knowledge of the game came in handy as he zigzagged across the board avoiding the summoned unit. When combat ensued, there was only one outcome. Without the Hand of Dust activated and with Serpentor napping, Demonica was at the mercy of the broad strokes of Zemanski's great weapon. Not many can hold out for long against 5 Strength 7 attacks per turn, and the little Lahmian was no exception. In the end, it was Zemanski who proved that he ruled the night.

WINNER: ZEMANSKI(John Matthews) !!!
