Designing
terrain around the theme of your particular army is a great
way to get excited about building scenery. The terrain you
create can serve as objectives, highlight your army, and become
a sort of "home field" advantage.
The Tomb King army offers the terrain maker plenty of evocative
options. Do some research in the Egyptian section of the library
or go and rent some films that deal with the subject of ancient
Egypt and its many mysteries. Once your head is full of hieroglyphs
and long dead cities, you can begin to brainstorm and come
up with a list of possible terrain ideas. Narrow that list
down to the projects you are really interested in, and get
started!
Stick with the materials and techniques you know well for
the first few simple pieces. Then, once you are warmed up
and in the zone, you can tackle a really ambitious project.
The following pages will hopefully serve as a gallery that'll
kickstart the terrain part of your brain, inspiring you to
go out and create your own renditions of the Khemri landscape.
