ARMIES

Awakened by their king, endless waves of skeleton warriors cross the Nehekharan wastes.

The Tomb Kings are a great army to collect and play. A Tomb Kings army on the battlefield is one of the most dazzling spectacles in Warhammer. Ranks upon ranks of gleaming bone adorned with bronze and gold is a stunning sight and an intimidating one for your opponents.

The Tomb Kings army also has a unique style of play. At face value, Tomb King troops seem expensive, slow, and not very good in combat. However, when bolstered by the considerable fighting abilities of the Tomb Kings and Princes and animated by the incantations of the Liche Priests, Tomb King troops can be used in devastating combinations to shatter the enemy. This web section will tell you how to get started building a Tomb Kings army.

Collecting, painting, and fielding a brand new army for Warhammer may seem a bit daunting at first. Fear not! On the following pages (in this section of the Tomb Kings site), you'll find a bunch of useful information on how to assemble your models and then give them a basic paint job with a minimal number of colours. There's even a fun scenario you can play using just the contents of a plastic Skeleton regimental boxed set. With this scenario, you can start playing right away while you gradually amass the rest of your army for a full game.

It's time to get started, so gather your clippers, glue, paints, and your copy of the Tomb Kings Army book. Armies don't paint themselves you know!
