The
Daemonic Legion army is a hard army to make work at smaller
point values. All of the units in the army are high-point
units, and on average, most other armies will get four or
five units in a 1,000-point game.
For the Tzeentch army, I selected two units of Horrors,
as their magical powers will help to offset the small
number of models in the army. The unit of Flamers will also
provide
much needed support with their flame bolts. The unit
can provide 30 shots if the dice are in your favor!
For the Nurgle army, the two units of Plaguebearers will
provide a solid core to the army. Their Cloud of Flies
ability makes even the best units in opposing armies need
at least 4+ to hit in close combat! The Plagueriders' random
multiple Attacks (up to 8 per model!) coupled with their Cloud
of Flies and Poisoned Attacks make them
quite formidable foes!
