Chaos WarriorsWhen I first caught wind of what was coming for the Storm of Chaos, I immediately went to work building an army that would serve Archaon’s will. I managed to get 25 of the new Chaos Warriors very early and was so excited to have them that I literally painted them all in 1 day (Battle Bunker 24-Hour Challenge madness, you see). My servitude to Nurgle only grew from there.

The idea for this list is to have enough units to force my opponent to make a decision about what to destroy. Three units can get across the table quickly, and the two blocks of troops form a nice, hard centre. I made sure, even at such a low point value, to take full advantage of the Archaon’s Horde list and get the units big enough to get free command upgrades. I took it easy on magic items and options, which allowed me to put more models in a 1,000-point list than you might expect from a Chaos player. This list, properly played, should prove to be a challenge for my opponents. If I can figure out how to make some decent dice rolls, I should be good!
