The High Elves are a great army to collect and play with, composed of an ancient combination of powerful mages, abundant magic items, and highly skilled warriors. The High Elves use their quick and disciplined troops to contest the enemy's every move. This section will tell you how to get started building your Beasts of Chaos army.

Collecting, painting, and fielding a brand-new army for Warhammer may seem a bit daunting at first. Fear not! On the following pages (in this section of the High Elves site), you'll find a bunch of useful information on how to assemble your models and then give them a basic paint job with a minimal number of colours. There's even a fun scenario you can play with only the contents of a plastic High Elves regimental boxed set. With this scenario, you can start playing even while you gradually recruit your High Elf army.

It's time to get started, so gather your clippers, glue, paints, and your copy of the High Elves Army book. Armies don't paint themselves you know!
