Brief Army Overview
I decided to ditch the Archers I usually take and instead use the Swordmasters. Not only do they have great weapons, but they strike first due to a high Initiative... pretty nice when Elves only have a Strength of 3, so anything that can give a bonus like that is helpful.

I also decided to take two characters, a Mage and a Commander. The Mage makes up for the lack of bowmen with some of the nasty spells he can use, and by upgrading him to level 2, he has more chance for success. The Commander is there for pure strength.

The Spearmen and Silver Helms are my Core choices. I believe that these two units are the backbone of any High Elf army and should always be taken.
