THE DARK SHADOWS CAMPAIGN

During the summer of 2001, the Warhammer world was plunged into turmoil as the various races fought for the fate of the mysterious Island of Albion. The island held powers that an evil entity known as the Dark Master needed to bring about his apocalyptic dreams. Of course, the High Elves and the other races that value life could not allow this to happen, and journeyed to the mist-covered island of Albion to put down this threat. Now known as the 'Dark Shadows Campaign', the Forces of Light, led by the enigmatic Truthsayers, narrowly thwarted the Dark Emissaries, the Forces of Darkness, and their mysterious Dark Master.

Above all other armies, the High Elves were instrumental in defeating the Dark Master and setting back his evil plans. Leading powerful allies such as the Empire and the Dwarfs, the High Elves were able to repel the hordes and push the Dark Master off of the island of Albion.

Although in truth the salvation of the Warhammer world was their only motivation, the armies of the High Elves were able to liberate a few powerful magic items to use against their enemies on Albion. The items of power known as the Claw of Devastation, the Armour of the Gods, and the Fusil of Conflagration have been forever added to Vaul's Forge.
