High Elf Banners

We've delved into the Games Workshop archives and found the original High Elf banners that were first published in the original edition of the High Elf book, the reprint of the book, White Dwarf and other more obscure sources. We thought it would be an excellent idea if you could download these fantastic designs and use them for your own High Elf army!

These banners can be used to add a little variety to your force. For instance you can apply that final touch to your new standard bearer conversion with a full-colour banner. Special units, such as the Phoenix Guard, will look even more fearsome with a resplendent standard.

Alternatively, if you want to use any of the classic High Elf standard bearer models in your army then all of these banners will fit perfectly. Of course, any of these banners can be given to the standard bearer in the High Elf plastic regiment box set.

We've got two different types of banners. There are black and white and colour versions for you to download.

The black and white banners are shown as an outline so you can paint them as you like. This is really cool because you can paint your banners to match the colour scheme of your army. Top Tip: Once you've chosen the colour to paint the border of your banner, paint the back of the banner the same colour.

If you don't have a colour printer, the black and white banners are much easier for you to print and paint than the colour ones.

The colour banners are really easy to use. Simply print them out on a colour printer and paint the back of the banner an appropriate colour. Then cut them out and superglue them to your standard bearer models.

So there you go. We have given you some ideas of how to apply your colour or black and white banners to your army. Hopefully your new units, resplendent with their amazing standards, will take all foes before them.
