MAD INVENTIONS! title image.
BLACK GOBBO'S SPESHUL DESTROYA
Created by Ty Finocchiaro

There's no telling what drove the infamous Black Gobbo to build this rickety contraption. The ravings of a single mad Goblin is bad enough, but such a power-hungry, malice-filled creature as the Black Gobbo can never hope to be understood. At first glance, it seems impossible that the ramshackle Black Gobbo's Speshul Destroya (The BGSD for short) can even function. Two crazed Night Goblins feverishly work towering cranes that swing wrecking balls made of fused cannons and scrap in twin deadly arcs. The half-thought out wooden structure creaks and groans under the strain and pressure of the two crane's erratic movements. The whole thing lurches forward under the uneven power of a Stone Troll pushing from behind.

To top it off, chained Dwarf captives (mostly Ironbreakers, 'cause they're heavier) are launched high into the air from a powerful slingshot seated between the swinging cranes. These poor Dwarfs eventually plummet to their death upon their fellow Dwarfs — a most shameful and grudge-worthy death. As such, the BGSD is a source of open hatred, causing even the most cool-headed Dwarf to fly into a rage upon sight of the infernal machine.

House Rules for Using this Crazed Invention in Your Games
Treat the BGSD as a Rare Choice Chariot, with the following exceptions/additions. There are three weapons on the BGSD that require at least two crew to use effectively: two wrecker cranes and a catapult. The crew fight normally as well, so long as they are not occupied by weapon duties. For example, swinging the cranes or firing the catapult keep them from fighting.

Swinging Death. In standard combat, the BGSD automatically rolls 1D6 S5 hits for each operating crane.

Dwarf's Away! Treat the catapult contraption in all respects as a Doom Diver. You may fire the Doom Diver even if the BGSD has moved that turn.

Lumbering Structure. The BGSD's charge distance is never doubled; instead, it may charge up to 8". In terms of impact hits, roll 4D6 to determine the number of hits caused.

That's Me Ride! The only characters insane enough to ride this thing are Night Goblin heroes.
