An Inquisitor of the Ordo Hereticus stands with her retinue and the Sisters of Battle.

Deep within the dark underbelly of the Imperium lies a festering rot that threatens Humanity's very survival. The rogue psyker, the mutant, and the heretic gnaw away at the foundations of society, a subtle threat that demands a sinister response. The Inquisitors of the Ordo Hereticus provide just such a response, purging these foul corrupters of the Emperor's Light with bolter and flame. Known as the Witch Hunters, they command the full might of the Imperium – especially the Sisters of Battle. This unchecked power along with their unyielding suspicion make the Witch Hunters among the most feared agents in the Imperium.

Collecting, painting, and fielding a brand new army for Warhammer 40,000 may seem a bit daunting at first. But fear not! On the following pages, you'll find a bunch of useful information on how to assemble your models and then give them a basic paint job with a minimal number of colours. There's even a fun scenario you can play using just a few models. This way you can be mightily entertained as you gradually amass your army.

It's time to get started, so gather your clippers, glue, and paints. Armies don't paint themselves you know!
