The latest incarnation of the Carnifex has got to be the most frightening of all. In game terms, these suckers can be built to suit your EXACT needs on the battlefield – which is scary enough in its own right. Yet, in a first for Tyranid players everywhere, the Carnifex is now a multi-part, highly convertible plastic kit. The creativity that players will exhibit with these sprues in the days to come will surely be monumental.

To get the ol' conversion ball rolling around in your head, Ty Finocchiaro has converted six different Carnifex examples, each themed to fit particular battlefield situations. Each model displays a way to model the vast array of biomorphs available to a Carnifex. Wherever possible, Ty used sprues that any Tyranid player will more than likely have plenty of, along with the new 'Fex sprues. He also has plenty of close-up images for you to use as reference if you care to give a particular conversion a try.
