WEAPON-MUTANT BROODS
Some players may well have access to whole units of the original Termagant models
and weapon-mutants may not give them the numbers they need. To accommodate these
truly ancient hive ships an alternate way of fielding stranglewebs and spike
rifles is in whole broods, as detailed below.

SPECIAL RULES Fleet of Claw: Gaunts can race along extremely quickly by using all six limbs for locomotion. To represent this, Gaunt Broods which do not shoot can move another D6" in the Shooting phase, ignoring penalties for difficult terrain. Infiltrate: As they are lacking in numbers, Weapon-mutant Broods instinctively gravitate towards stalking and concealing themselves in ambush. To represent this, Broods may Infiltrate in scenarios where the Infiltrate scenario special rule is being used. If the mission does not allow units to use the Infiltrate rules then the mutants must set up normally with the rest of the army. |
