The Tau know
better than to attempt talks with the Black Templars. War
is the only language those Humans speak.
|
The Tau Empire is governed by the concept that it is only right
and noble for the individual to set his own desires aside
for the Greater Good of the Empire. This guiding
principle
has allowed the Tau to flourish by minimizing internal conflict.
Unlike most alien races that Humanity has encountered, the
Tau are not
overtly hostile, though they will fight fiercely to protect those
territories they have claimed as their own. The rapid progress
of
the Tau is pushing them further into occupied areas of the galaxy,
and this expansion has inevitably brought them into conflict
with Humans
and other alien races.
Collecting, painting, and fielding a brand-new army
for Warhammer 40,000 may seem a bit daunting at first. Fear not!
On the following pages, you'll find a bunch of useful information
on how to assemble your models and then give them a basic paint
job with a minimal number of colours. There's even a fun mission
you can play with just a few models. This way, you can start playing
right away as you gradually amass your Tau army.
It's time to get started, so gather your clippers,
glue, and paints. Armies don't paint themselves, you know!
