The latest incarnation of the plastic Space Marine Terminators has caused quite a stir throughout the GW community. Nearly every Space Marine (or Chaos Space Marine) player has a unit of Terminators – or, at the very least, a character encased in one of these ancient, armoured suits.

Hobbyists' brains have been overflowing with intense, complex, and sometimes strange conversion ideas for the new Terminators. In order to relieve this creative tension before it got to be too much, we decided to give poor, afflicted GW modelers just what they wanted – the new Terminator sprues a full 2 months before they hit the shelves.

Each hobbyist received two Terminator models that they could convert in any way they saw fit – so long as the conversion jived with the rules, of course. We didn't want to see any jump-pack-wearin', dirt-bike-ridin', or lascannon-firin' Terminators! Finally, one of the two Terminators had to be properly sworn to the divine light of the Emperor, while the other should be utterly against everything that Humanity stands for.
