Imperial Fist Scouts support their Captain in his battle against Chaos.

- FORWARD OBSERVERS -
In any military force, the collection of accurate information is critical to the success of the mission. For the Adeptus Astartes, the Scouts of the 10th Company of each Chapter ensure that the Space Marines go into battle with as much information as possible. While not as heavily armed or armoured as their brethren, Space Marine Scouts can still be an important factor in any game.

Time and again, I have seen Space Marine Scouts perform extremely well on the battlefield. I’ve watched Scouts, armed only with a bolt pistol and combat knife, hold their own against Ork mobs. I’ve seen Scouts take down a towering Wraithlord with accurate sniper rifle fire. I’ve been there when Scouts, after Infiltrating into a strategic area (like an unoccupied table quarter), have survived long enough to decide the outcome of the game. My experience with Space Marine Scouts has given me a healthy respect for these fledgling Astartes. Let's take a look at how best to make this Troops type work well in your army.
