IN THE GRIM DARKNESS OF THE FAR FUTURE, THERE IS ONLY WAR

Earlier this year, we announced that the rumors surrounding the future of Warhammer 40,000 were true, and that a new rulebook for the game will be released. A revision of the current rules system (incorporating your feedback over the past few years), the new rules will improve the present game rather than create a brand new game system with brand new rules.

Warhammer 40,000 Update

The new Hardback Rulebook will be available in Australia on 1st September 2004.

The rule changes are designed to create more dynamic battles that encourage:

• More Movement
• Closer Range Fire Fights

You Can Still Use Your Existing Armies
All existing:

• Armies
• Races
• Codex Books

Remain valid within the updated rules

What Are the Changes?
• Improved Line-of-Sight
• Leadership based target selection
• Close Assault rules developed from current "trial" rules
• Improved Rapid Fire rules
• New Indirect Fire rules
• More dynamic vehicle rules
• Provide greater moving and firing freedom
• Tanks can move and fire more weapons again!
