Communication on the battlefield is an absolute key to achieving victory. Coordinating troop drops from orbit, relaying scout information, updating enemy positions, and calling in death from the skies are all integral functions of combat communication. There are various methods for the actual transmission of messages, none being more common than the Communications Bunker. Heavily fortified and shielded to protect the delicate-yet-vital equipment within, these structures are highly valuable objectives. To control them is to have the upper hand and dictate the flow of battle.

On the following pages, I'll guide you through the process of building a Communications Bunker. The average hobbyist has been kept in mind, so there won't be excessive usage of bitz and single items from expensive sprues. I tried to stick to basic building materials like foamcore and only two sprues that you'll chop the heck out of. When the dust finally settles, you should have a cool piece of terrain that you can be proud of.

However, I realise that everyone is not as berserk about terrain as I am after 4 cups of my favourite caffeinated beverage. If you're going to tape a label on three aluminium cans that reads "Comm Bunker" because terrain construction doesn't interest you, that's fine by me. There are still two scenarios written by trusted Outrider-supreme Dan Helmen for you to use, too. See, everybody wins! Choose your destination by clicking one of the links below.
