An
Eldar army almost always contains at least one Wraithlord.
They're the obvious choice choice for the army's centrepiece.
The mighty Wraithlord is just too rad not to take
— in terms of both stats and looks. War Walkers have
also been a popular choice amongst Eldar players looking
for some heavy-hitting weaponry. Now, with the Wraithlord
and War Walker both in plastic form, foes of the Eldar
will more than likely be facing more of these deadly
models than they'd care to.
Seeing as these new models are completely plastic,
and each component totally separate from one another,
the avid modeller within you may be jumping up and
down with glee right now. The range of possibilities
for posing these graceful machines is pretty vast.
To help out, this article is here to inspire you and
show ya' how it can be done.
This article is broken down into three sections. First
up is Simple Poses. These pages show the versatility
of the War Walker sprues without converting a single
thing. Smart assembly is all that's required.
The second section deals with how one might go about
cutting into precious Wraithlord limb bitz and reconnecting
them for action-oriented poses — all without ruining
your lovely models.
Finally, we have three converted Wraithlords which display
some unique dynamic poses. Remember, this is only
the tip of the iceberg in terms of what you can do
with these great plastic kits. Check out all the examples and
tips featured here — then dig into your own models
at home. |
