evastator squads are equipped with multiple heavy weapons. This formation is the most heavily armed type of Space Marine squad of all and is deployed wherever extra firepower is needed, especially where the Chapter faces well-armoured opposition or where there are fortifications that need to be blasted open to create a breach for other Space Marines to exploit.
