To demonstrate the kind of diversity you can achieve when converting a Daemonhunters army, we present these miniatures from GW staff members. We hope these models serve as inspiration for aspiring Inquisitors while they assemble their forces to battle the corruption of Chaos.

John Shaffer’s Inquisitorial Retinue
John created these models from archive 40K, Necromunda, and Warhammer miniatures. They are as follows (from top to bottom left to right): Mystic, Acolyte w/ power weapon, Death Cult Assassin, Sage, Acolyte w/ storm shield, Inquisitor, and Acolyte w/ storm bolter.

Ty Finocchiaro’s Inquisitorial Retinue
Ty’s Inquisitor Chillino is accompanied by an assortment of robotic constructs that are based on, of all things, Warhammer Night Goblins! A+ for creativity.

Aaron Dill’s Inquisitor and Stormtroopers
Aaron’s Inquisitor was created by meticulously scraping the arrows and heraldry from the 40K Chaos Lord model. Next, some simple head and arm swaps with Fabius Bile’s cane, the Steam Tank Engineer’s head, and the storm bolter from the Space Marine Terminator Captain finished off the conversion. Aaron’s Stormtroopers were painted by using Regal Blue on the armour and Codex Grey on the weapons to create subtle highlights for this elite unit.

Sol Blair’s Inquisitorial Retinue
Sol created his Inquisitor from the limited edition Champion packaged with the Black Templar’s boxed army. His warrior is an Escher ganger, and his Acolyte and Mystic are converted Mordheim Sisters of Sigmar miniatures.

Discovery Mills GW Store’s Conversions
These evocative conversions were created by (from left to right) Vince Kennedy, James Wellborn, Jason Mullis, and Bill Ard. These models show that you can find suitable models for conversion from the most unlikely of ranges.

Josh Wimberly’s models
The attention that Josh paid to the bases of his models adds further depth and character.
From left to right, they are an Inquisitor, Inquisitor Hand, and a Vindicare Assassin.

Chris Walton’s Inquisitor
The unique additions to this model’s armour help to make it dark and brooding.

Dave Taylor’s Inquisitor
This model’s psycannon was made from green stuff sculpted over the framework of a bolter.
