Well, for one thing you can now include super cool models like the Great Unclean One amongst your Space Marines or Eldar Guardians. It also means that conversion happy hobbyists can go berserk and let their creativity get the best of them. Since you can include a generic Greater Daemon in your force, as opposed to one aligned to the four great Chaos powers, the conversion door has pretty much been flung wide open!
