Nurgle
As far as Daemons of the four Chaos gods
were concerned, I really liked the idea of a Great Unclean
One leading an Ork army. Nurgle Daemons are green so
they fit the Orks perfectly. The boys would think that
Gork and Mork had visited his presence upon them and
gifted them with the marks of his Orkyness.
My Warboss would have to be possessed in
order to have a Greater Daemon in my army: he would
be the Daemonvessel whose body the daemon would use
to enter the battlefield. With this in mind, as well
as the Great Unclean One himself, I decided to make
a new Warboss model, one marked by Nurgle.
I chose one of the new Chaos Spawn models,
one with a distinct face and head, as the basis for
the model. I filed down the nose and jaw and added Ork
fangs and then I built up the face again, applying more
Green Stuff to bulk out the face. I added curled horns
to the head and sculpted warts and buboes made from
Green Stuff, making my new Warboss looked like a miniature
Great Unclean One. I also made some subtle changes to
my daemon model, adding Ork heads and glyphs, as will
as some spines to mirror the appearance of my Warboss.

Here are some additional ideas I've had
for modelling Chaos Undivided Daemons and Khorne:
Chaos Undivided
If I were to choose Chaos Undivided Daemons
I could convert a Daemon Prince into an Orky-looking
Greater Daemon and choose some appropriate models to
represent Undivided Daemons. Chaos Furies are a pretty
obvious choice, but I think that Strigoi Vampires looked
sufficiently daemonic, brutal and even Orky, making
them great daemon warriors.
Khorne
The other logical choice of daemons to
lead the Orks is Khorne. Orks love carnage and respect
anything that gives them to more enemies to fight. Khorne
was originally associated with Stormboyz in the original
Ork Freebooterz book. I needed an appropriate Daemonvessel
in order to start this army, so I began my conversion
with the Scylla model and added Grimgor's head for a
more lean-looking Warboss. like a huge Flesh Hound of
Khorne. I also included the Doom Diver Snotling Pullers,
who are trying to hold back the savage Warboss.
Over time I'm sure I will explore even
more ideas for mixing Orks and Chaos in games against
Daemonhunters. The next stage is to fight some games!
