The Berzerkers of Khorne

Once your models have been primed with Chaos Black Spray Primer, painting can begin. Below, you will find a simple-but-effective colour scheme using only 11 colours. Follow the detailed instructions and check out the stage-by-stage images as you paint your model for reference. Don't fret if the model doesn't come out picture perfect in the end. Painting takes time and practice to master. Just do the best you can each time and be open to learning new techniques from others. Before you know it, you'll be quite an accomplished painter with models you'll be proud to game with!

1

Paint a basecoat on the armour with Scab Red. Clean up the shoulder pad base armour with Chaos Black if you painted over the undercoat. Also paint parts of the backpack with Chaos Black. Paint the chain axe trim and shoulder pad icons and trim with Brazen Brass. Paint the chains, bolt pistol, and other metal parts with Boltgun Metal.

2

Apply a watered-down mix of Black Ink to the Boltgun Metal areas and around the edges of the Scab Red armour. Wash the Brazen Brass trim with a watered-down mix of Chestnut Ink.

3

Highlight the Boltgun Metal with Chainmail. Apply a highlight to the Brazen Brass with Shining Gold.

4

Brighten-up the armour a little bit with Red Gore, making sure to stay away from the inking and detailing.

5

Highlight the armour with Blood Red. Clean up any of the black lines with a watered-down mix of Black Ink. Apply a highlight to the Chaos Black areas with Codex Grey.

Be sure to check out how to paint Death Guard, Thousand Sons, and Emperor's Children.
