Golden Demon Day:
6th of October 2007
This is the big day when  everyone can enter the Golden Demon painting competition. Just visit your local Games Workshop Hobby Centre or participating Independent Retailer with your entry or entries and your ticket (you can purchase a ticket on the day) and you are ready to enter. All Hobby Centres will have extra painting areas set up on the day for painters to get together and share Golden Demon winning techniques and drool over the entries. It’s a great day to meet like minded hobbyists from your local area, we have even had a few  “Painting clubs” spring up from previous Golden Demon Days

Regional Finals:
27th of October 2007

NZ: St. Lukes Hobby Centre
QLD: Brisbane Hobby Centre
NSW/ACT: Sydney Battle Bunker
WA: Perth Hobby Centre
SA: Adelaide Hobby Centre
VIC/TAS: Melbourne Hobby Centre

If your entry places in the  top three in any category it was entered into on Golden Demon Day it is eligible to be entered into the Regional Final for your state or country. Games Workshop can transport your model from your local Hobby Centre to the Regional Final if you provide appropriate packaging. You  are welcome to transport your own model from your local Hobby Centre to the Regional Final. If you choose to do this you must present your entry or entries to staff in the Hobby Centre hosting the final by no later than 10am on the day of the Regional Final. You do not have to be at the actual Regional  Final, but again it would be a great chance to meet fellow  painters and see some snazzy models.

Grand Final:
17th-18th of November 2007

If your model places in the top three in any category it was entered into at the Regional Finals it is eligible to be entered into the Grand Final. At the NSW Regional Final the top 6 entries in  each category will be eligible to be entered into the Grand Final.

Again Games Workshop can transport appropriately packaged entries on your behalf or you can choose to transport your own model to the event. If you choose to transport your own model you must present your entry or entries to staff at the Sydney Battle Bunker by no later than 10am on Saturday the 10th of November 2007.

Experienced Golden Demon Judges Andrew Long, Matt Weaver and Laurie Goodridge will again decide  which miniatures are Australia and New Zealand's best for 2007. Golden Demon or Young Bloods Trophies will be awarded to the top three entries in each category and a separate trophy will be given to the 1st placed entry in the Open category. The Golden Demon entry judged the best overall from all categories on the day will be awarded the coveted Slayer Sword.

Games Workshops staff painting competition, 'The Emperors Chosen', will be  held on the Golden Demon Grand Final weekend. 'The Emperors Chosen' entries will be displayed along side the Golden Demon and Young Bloods entries for your viewing enjoyment.
